Hurricane Igor Leaves Distruction and is Heading Towards the United States
Hurricane Igor hit Bermuda early this morning on September 20, 2010. Power went out in many areas. By dawn, the eye of the hurricane was 200 miles north of Bermuda. Even though the hurricane is predicted to veer off to the northeast away from the U.S. the east coast should expect six to ten foot waves from the storm. Strong rip tides could also result from the hurricane.
